7 Promises of God

hey y’all hey! here are 7 promises of God for you to read, reflect, and renew yourself with:

promise 1. God is not a man and therefore cannot lie. numbers 23:19 says “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” let me think, no and no.

promise 2. God has plans to proser you. jeremiah 29:11 says “‘for I know the plans I have for you,’” says the Lord. ‘they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you future and a hope.’”

promise 3. God will fill you with an overflowing joy. john 15:11 says “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. yes, your joy will overflow.” a joy you simply can’t contain.

promise 4. God will give you wisdom. james 1:5 says “if you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not reubke you for asking”. in other words, you have not because you ask not.

promise 5. God will give you rest. matthew 11:28 says “then Jesus said, ‘come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” exchange your stress, your aniexty, your hurry for rest.

promise 6. God will give you a sound mind. 2 timothy 1:7, “for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and of a sound mind.” fear is not of God, but a sound mind is.

promise 7. God will never leave you nor forsake you. deuteronomy 31:8 says “the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” ok, so that’s really 2 promises in 1 but the point is - you are never alone.
